About The Couples Codex
Most couples don’t break up over one big thing. They slowly wear each other down with a thousand small, unspoken expectations.
The Couples Codex exists to fix that.
What it is
The Couples Codex is a serious, handwritten operating system for your relationship. It’s a coil‑bound workbook you fill in together at the table, turning vague expectations into clear, written rules you both agree to.
Who it’s for
The Codex is for serious, committed couples – dating, engaged, or married – who:
• Want to stop having the same fights over and over.
• Want clear expectations around money, time, sex, family, phones, and conflict.
• Prefer pen‑and‑paper over another app they’ll forget to open.
Why it’s handwritten and analog
There are a million relationship apps and digital PDFs. Most of them get opened once and forgotten.
We made The Couples Codex intentionally physical and analog because:
• Writing by hand makes the conversations feel more serious and memorable.
• A coil‑bound book on the table is harder to ignore than an email link.
• Couples need a shared “book of rules” they can flip open together for years.
Who’s behind it
The Couples Codex was created by A. Vally, after seeing how much damage unspoken expectations, resentment, and mismatched assumptions can do to otherwise good relationships.
This isn’t therapy and it’s not a magic fix. It’s a structured way to sit down, talk honestly, and write the rules of your relationship together so you both know what you’re signing up for.
